The government has announced that the Passport Office is presently 'fast-tracking' passport renewals for an additional fee of $200. This is on top of the $50 renewal fee that Bahamians already pay.

In asking that question was Pintard being truthful in his intent to draw attention to the incumbent Member of Parliament for Central Grand Bahama whose company (Precision Tune Auto Care) was a recipient of a loan from the BDB while he served as a Cabinet Minister.

At least 50 percent of all car orders in the current economic downturn are for vehicles between $5,000 to $10,000, say local auto dealers, as the majority of buyers shift to the lower end of the used car market.
